Nora inside her mommy at 19 weeks.

Nora inside her Mommy's belly at 19 weeks.

Well we just had another appointment with the doctor and got yet another ultrasound (I hope our baby doesn’t come out glowing or with three eyes from all the ultrasounds :) sharon had been feeling a lot of anxiety leading up to this appointment because she had not been feeling any movement in there. I tried to reassure her by telling her we did not feel Noah kick until after 20 weeks, I know because i blogged everything. Nonetheless she was nervous. It was a great feeling to see a little baby kicking away in there. It lifted a huge weight. Now on to other important issues, such as…is that baby a girl in there?

We had been reading so much information about mis-reading ultrasounds when the tech says a girl but turns out to be a boy because it was too early to tell. Our minds were finally put to rest when we heard the words “It is for sure a girl”. Whew. If she were a he, we did have a contingency plan for a name. We were going to do Nora backwards, which would be Aron. But that will not be necessary. Now we can begin accumulating baby girl stuff and get her room ready in our new house. We had previously decided not to decorate the room until we got her home, but we think she deserves the same hoopla that Noah got.

Overall the appointment was pretty routine, no drama like last visit. All is well with little Nora and her mommy. Good stuff. But of course we will always have a fear deep inside the back of our minds something could go wrong until we have her home and safe in our arms.
