The Hangout at night, where dancing on the tables is a ritual.

This is more of a complex than restaurant. The place is quite large inside and outside. The inside has walls covered with so many eclectic and interesting items you can get lost looking at them. For instance I found myself losing track of time searching through the collection of hundreds of old kid’s lunch boxes trying to find ones that I had as a kid.

The place is all about fun, and just hanging out. Becoming a kid again. The outside area is walled in and has a play area for kids with a large sand mountain and tunnel and more. There are pool tables, ping pong tables, cornhole setups and other stuff for all ages. And around every corner is a place you can get a cold beer. There are also 2 large stages for entertaining, especially during the annual Hangout Music Festival which boasts some big names such as Zac Brown Band, Black Crows, Alison Kraus, Motorhead, Foo Fighters, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Kings of Leon, Tom Petty and many more.

And oh yeah, I almost forgot this was a restaurant review, but hey have really good bar/comfort food as well. The place is really a top notch operation and a MUST SEE if ever close by, like within a 100 miles!
